Damien is from southeast Louisiana and now resides in Columbia, TN. He can be found playing both in Columbia and throughout the Middle Tennessee area. Of late, Damien has been playing locally at such events as Arts in the Park, Winterfest Beer Blast benefiting Columbia Cares, and is often showcased at the Artisans First Thursday art parties which have lent support to numerous local charities. Inspired by a musical mother and raised on a steady diet of traditional gospel, folk, and choral music Damien began to play guitar and write songs in his early 20's. Heavily influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Richie Havens, and Nick Drake the local songwriter's scene in Baton Rouge seemed like the place to start learning more about the craft. While living in Baton Rouge, Damien was exposed to a heavy dose of blues, soul, R&B, and indie rock. Finding a few small venues to regularly test new material, Damien began to develop his own musical identity. After a few years of the Louisiana scene and subsequent marriage to the his college sweetheart, Damien made the decision to move to Nashville and further hone his craft as an aspiring songwriter and performer. From Nashville he then moved south to Columbia, TN where he currently resides with his loving wife and daughter. During his tenure in Nashville, Damien Boggs teamed with keyboardist and writer Joey Cox to record a full banded rock album entitled "The Apartment 13 Sessions". Since moving to Columbia, Damien has begun working in his own studio and from it produced the album "From the Living Room". Currently at work on multiple projects and playing out regularly, Damien hopes to have a new record available by the summer of 2013.
